Thanks DC but the bigger question no Giant pitcher can pinch run.  That’s odd
To me

I thought the same thing at the time, that surely there is a pitcher who is a fast runner, but I assume they didn't want to deal with any injury risk.

Plus, it has to be a starting pitcher - Webb, Junis, Rodon were available (no way they use the next days starter ). None strike me as burners!
