I have two sets of autographed hi-ball glasses from Horace (fitting), a briefcase, assorted knickknacks, my own labeled bat, an old pair of Adidas spikes, a glove and a wall plaque. The beat writers received substantial presents at Christmas. All this helped lead to coverage that was miles away from criticism and never told the unknown stories that we witnessed on the road.
