Kapler is in a “managers slump”. Bullpen moves backfiring. It happens to all of them at some point. Doesn’t help when your bullpen ERA since May 1 is over 6. More than a run higher than any other in baseball.
I did disagree, prior to the AB with him bringing in Alvarez to face Blackmon with 2nd and 3d one out. Would have left Littell in, walked Blackmon and set up the DP for Diaz. No where near the hitter Blackmon is.
