How about their second year stats? Judge hit 284/422/627 with 52 home runs. It's not unusual for even the best players to struggle their first time up in the majors. Mike Trout hit 220/281/390 his first time up, then 326/399/564 the next year. It's not Bart's first year stats that are worrisome, it's his lack of progress after a full year in AAA and second try at the majors, at age 25 no less.
