I selfishly miss watching him. But I’m glad he got out. A special person by all accounts. What he did year 1 at Indy was remarkable. Walking away from an almost certain HOF career, even more so.
So many parallels between his early NFL careers and Plunketts. First pick. Organization savior. Both got the hell beat out of them. With organizations that couldn’t seem to get the fact that you need to protect such an asset. Fairbanks hurt Plunkett. Arians hurt Luck. Organizational malfeasance.
