Matt - I think that you could break down the DB analysis to assess CB and safety separately. Akina likely still comes out looking ok from a DB perspective. But development of safeties has been lacking (and that's being charitable). Only Richards and Reid have achieved "superstar" status. And Akina barely gets credit for Richards who only played one year under him.
