I expected that a team that beat U$C *should* have beaten UW.  If it turns out that UW beats Oregon, I'll feel less mortified about the loss.  But expectations had a lot to do with it.  If our fourth game was against SJSU, and we had previously beaten Duke, U$C, and UW--and if we had lost to SJSU, I would say something had gone terribly wrong.  UW is better than SJSU, but the consensus is that U$C is probably better than UW, so Stanford should have beaten UW.  It wasn't a quality loss...it felt like a choke job, and that's something to worry about.
