Stanford's backline continues to be fantastic lead by Senior Wesley and Freshman Evans who are both superstars. I love how aggressive Wesley is and always involves her self in the attack. Evans is quite comfortable and so calm with the ball.

Naomi Girma's injury 2 seasons ago was doubly harmful, because we not only lost Girma but had to move Wesley to center back, so we lost her aggressiveness in the attack from the wing. I was worried with Girma graduating that we might lose that again, but it looks like Evans is more than capable in the middle.  Evans and Wesley should be a great combo for us this season.
