So, we beat UCSB 5-1. We dominated all game long, and the stats indicate it. 2 worrisome things...we gave up our first goal of the season when their very quick backup striker outran our defense and made a good shot past our goalie. 

Additionally, Lumi was injured early in the first half and didn't return. She slid on purpose trying to get to the ball before the goalie, who also slid on purpose, got to it. The goalie got the ball but they crashed into each other on the ground. Lumi stayed down for a short while, got up to try and continue, but was unable to do so, and was substituted around a minute later.

I think her slide was unnecessary as it seemed as of their goalie was going to get to the ball first, and she could have been carded for such an aggressive play. She didn't get carded but did get (her leg) injured. 

I thought I saw her walking after the game and am hoping it was just precautionary not coming back into a game that was under control.
