This team will go as far this year as McKee's arm will take us.

This team will go as far as the front seven on defense. If they suck (again), teams will run all over us (again) and our offense will be under tremendous pressure to score on literally every drive because there's no confidence that the defense can get a stop

You're right that the front seven has to be at least somewhat effective. However, we aren't going to win games 17-10. If we win it is going to be because we put a lot of points on the scoreboard and McKee is the guy that is going to have to do it.
