What gave me hope:
Michael Wilson, one bad drop to start and then wow. He deserves a full season
Tremayne fully back
McKee, incredible placement particularly on high balls. One bad drive
The rest of the receiving and TE corps
EJS pass catching and speed in open field
OL pass protection impecable
Moi, name called a lot and always disruptive, could be who he was lining up against but looked to me the real deal
Miezan looked improved
Secondary
What concerns me:
Ability to run for short gains, painful memories of tackles behind LOS coming back
RB not being able to gain much after contact.
Offense a bit like a high performance sports car that’s not quite fine tuned and can sputter, need to be able to run for 3.5 yds consistently
Ability to contain mobile QB
Ability to stop running game outside tackles
Was hoping to see/hear more of Bailey
Looking ahead to next week, no reason for me to feel like we don’t have a chance against SC. Would love nothing more than bringing them a peg or four, again.
