++ on this CI. I could even be persuaded to offer a small $3-$5K stipend per year per athlete for spending money on top of the scholarship amounts. The arms race needs to stop or this is all going to implode. It's already happening with NIL payments from some schools. The pendulum has swung over too far and I'm hopeful we will see it swing back in a few years, probably after yet another major scandal...likely from this weekend's opponent.
USC is the poster child for "lack of institutional control" and that's not just in athletics. Let's beat the Sooner/Trojans, please....Come to think of it, that combo sounds like a possible ED problem or at least some fodder for the LSJUMB!
