That is an excellent read by my classmate. I appreciate the perspectives from Tara in particular.  I do wonder a bit if someone without much knowledge could read it and not understand how dire the situation is becoming for a university with Stanford's mission.  Maisel's comment about "the sparsely populated Venn diagram of academic and athletic excellence" is only the beginning of the problem.
