All of the above is correct.  The challenge is to disengage with a checked-out, mediocre talent who has dragged the program down with him in favor of a Harbaugh-like coach to make one final attempt to un-sink this sinking ship. 

I don't think it can be done.  More importantly, I wonder if the university hierarchy even wants it done.
