At this point, it's starting to look how you would expect for the recruiting class of a football program that is circling the drain. It's possible that the class could turn out to be something better than a complete disaster, but it ain't going to be good.
We're not done.
Well, that is certainly welcome news. Still, if Stanford were to land Leviticus Su'a, Cayden Lee, Smith Snowden, Asa Newsom, and Elijah Hughes (which I think is all of the remaining realistic Plan A/A-/B+ recruits), would that be an acceptable class? It would be a class of 17 matriculating with only 1 of those matriculating recruits rated in the top 350 of the 247sports composite. Granted, Shaw has gotten commitments from two more excellent recruits who are scheduled to arrive in 2025 after they each take an LDS Mission. But those recruits will not fill any anticipated needs for a long time. And the QB depth chart looks alarmingly thin. Is there a potential solution to the hole at QB in this class?
