In the first few games, it seemed more 50:50 between Jones and Dye. Recently, Jones has had to take a clear back seat to Dye. Does Jones enter the portal again? I think Dye is out of eligibility after this year, so Jones can stick around and hope to be RB1 next year. We don’t know exactly how much NIL money he’s receiving. Depending on how things go next year, Jones still may have made a wise move, at least from a pure football perspective.
Yes, Dye is done after this year. Jones can tack on the 2023 season and hope to be RB1 after Dye departs. Let's see.
