Dye transferred from Oregon to usc. Dye gets the Rock not Jones

In the first few games, it seemed more 50:50 between Jones and Dye.  Recently, Jones has had to take a clear back seat to Dye.  Does Jones enter the portal again? JT Daniels has seen time at USC, Georgia and now West Virginia.  There is clear precedent for a three-school collegiate career.  And the Corona year adds extra eligibility into the mix.

You are allowed one free pass via the portal.  Daniels’ situation was unique because he received a waiver when he transferred from USC to Georgia.  He utilized his portal pass to move from Ga. to WVU.  

Of course, Jones could move on and play immediately elsewhere if he received a waiver.

And, especially after last week's game, my WV grad relative thinks it's time for Daniels to sit.

It's been a rough ride for JT Daniels.  Got injured and lost the starting job to Keedon Slovis at USC.  Went to Georgia as QB1, got injured and lost the starting job to Stetson Bennett, who then led the Bulldogs to the National Championship. Went to West Virginia, has underwhelmed and may be benched. 

That said, Keedon Slovis, after his injury, also had to pack his bags and trek to Pittsburgh, while enfant terrible Jaxson Dart didn't like the Riley/Williams tandem arriving from Norman and hightailed it to Ole Miss.  None of them expected their illustrious USC careers to end this way.  These are indeed strange times for college football.
