I hope so. Washington is about the most unlikeable #1 team i have seen in years. I think they could play soccer but mostly don't. Instead its 1960's England boot ball. Case in point the UW free kick 70 yards from goal that they promptly launched into the Stanford box. Just ugly. Good news is the men outplayed them in the first game while losing 3-0. This time we managed the offense better but still have defensive issues to clean up. So improvement that i hope would carry into a game 3.
This is a really fun team to watch for Stanford. I hope it goes deep into the tournament. They may not have the stud forward to carry them through, but it will be interesting to watch.
