Of course Vanguard knows that, and wants its players to get better by scheduling elite competition. Meanwhile, we were able to play a lot of different rotations.
I am geeked to see the (sort of) beginning of the Iriafen era.

Just a quick note on Vanguard. They are nomads this season. Their home court, aka The Pit, has been torn down for a new arena that is in process of being built. I am not sure where they practice, but will be playing their home games at Orange Coast College, a JUCO, less than a mile away. Russ Davis, their coach, as someone mentioned in a prior post, also coaches Cal Swish, the AAU team, that Pohlen and both Samuelson sisters, Bonnie and Karlie played for. In the past Vanguard has also played exhibition games at UConn. I believe he once said that the money the team makes for playing at UConn covers about 75% of the teams budget for the year. They havent gone to UCOnn in a few years as Russ Davis was recovering from cancer. I believe it is in full remission now.
