Northwestern figured out a way to not suck. "Mildcats no more!" Not tOSU or Michigan, maybe, but respectable.
Northwestern seems to be on a path to Stanford"s. Following some success, starting in 2019, they have gone 3-9(including a loss to Stanford and wins against UNLV, UMass, & Illinois), 7-2, 3-9(wins against Indiana State, Ohio, & Rutgers) and 1-8 this season with losses to Southern Illinois and Miami of Ohio. Wouldn't be surprised if they have some of the challenges with the transfer portal and NIL similar to ours.
