Are any of our future grad students in the portal? I assume that before the last game, nobody is going to put their name in unless they are absolutely beyond caring. Why burn bridges?

247 shows 2 Stanford players in the portal - Arlen Harris and Tobe Umerah

I don’t think Harris can be in the portal until Dec. 5, since he is not a graduate transfer.  It’s a fait accompli that he will be (which may be why 247 listed him), and he said he is transferring out, but the portal doesn’t open for undergraduate transfers until the playoff teams are announced.

That's correct - Harris WILL BE in the portal, but technically wasn't allowed to be yet when he announced. Some miscommunication between him and compliance.

Umerah medically retired. If he's able to somehow finesse a scholarship to get a Masters paid for elsewhere despite being medically unfit (or at best, debatably medically fit) to play, I'd respect the hell out of the hustle.
