I haven’t looked systematically, but the large number of transfers in our conference rivals suggests that this is not a Stanford-specific issues.  I mean, in order for USC to bring in a gazillion transfer, they had to have at least that many roster spots; those came from when, for example, Slovis to Pitt and Dart to Ole Miss suggests that this is not a uniquely Stanford problem.
