Notre Dame's starting QB has declared his intent to transfer. Not a great endorsement for Marcus Freeman. Stanford does need QBs.

Come on, obviously a backup who played because of injury to the starter and, moreover, isn't good enough to prevent Notre Dame from getting a much higher-profile QB like Hudson Card (or heck, Tanner McKee). This isn't an indictment of Freeman. It's what QB2s in college football do these days.
