I'm sure Tavita will be fine. I'd guess that a likely next stop for him would be as a quality control coach in the NFL. There are a lot of current NFL coaches with Stanford connections including Roman, Hamilton, Fangio and Walters who could help him out. He wouldn't be doing much coaching in a QC role (mainly computer work) so it's not much of a risk for the NFL team but for Tavita it would be a chance to get his foot in the door of the NFL and go from there. His career path could end up looking very similar to Robbie Picazo - started as a grad assistant at Stanford, hopped on with Bloom at Rice working with QBs and RBs and then Pep picked him up this year as an offensive assistant / QC with the Texans.
