Super important but also not that hard. Shaw tended to recruit self-selectors. Stanford Men aren't likely to bail on us due to a coaching change, especially not one the improves morale. And frankly this class isn't good enough to face a lot of threats from other programs trying to poach our guys. In the transfer portal era other teams have shifted to that avenue for stocking the roster, so they're not going to be falling over themselves to get a bunch of 3-stars currently committed to Stanford. The players we had in the fold other teams would really want, Lyons and Clegg, have already decommitted. Our class has zero whales. It doesn't even have anybody in the same genus as a whale. We have zero composite top 200 recruits and two top 400. It's a bad class so it won't be that hard to hang on to it. But yes, very important Taylor hangs on to as much as possible.
