The game was a blowout that was not as close as the final score. Cal kept their main rotation in while we played the bench a lot in the second half. Curry is very good but she scored most of her points towards the end of the game, not when it mattered. Cal is improved but not nearly up with the top of the conference. They should win more games than last season, and they have struggling ASU to maybe pick on to get some early momentum.
Nice to see the subs get in and generally do pretty well. Jones continues her good play of late. Not really much to say. I don't think that was close to an A game. It was too sloppy at times, lots of passes that were just a bit too high or too hard and other avoidable turnovers. Rotation still in flux. Nice way to head into the holiday break. I hope any players who are flying get where they are going. Lots of disruption in flights due to weather around the country.
