I have mixed feelings about this hire, with the needle swinging more to the negative side.  It's been stated many times we don't know how often Shaw over ruled TP, and we could not determine with certainty how good or bad he is. 

Maybe TP is a diamond in the rough.  Hope this is the case.

We do know. It was all the time. TP's only "play calls" were our scripted first drives. Shaw had final say on every single play call after that.

I for one think we'll be shocked at how much better our QBs look in an offensive system that doesn't actively suck and doesn't take 3 years to "master."

(This is technically a demotion, by the way.)
