Where those NIL deals would be extra enticing though are for the college stars who aren’t top pro prospects or for star underclassmen who can’t declare yet. A QB hungry team throwing a couple million bucks at Duggan from TCU would make a lot of sense for both parties.

Duggan, a senior with no eligibility remaining, was a bad example. But this is absolutely happening with others (cough cough Sam Hartman to Notre Dame and Devin Leary to Kentucky).
