I feel like someone in power must have moved from the city and purchased a house in Pleasanton, Dublin, Danville or San Ramon.

Now that USC and UCLA are leaving, it might actually be reasonable for the studios to be in the LA area.   I have to believe most of the coaches and ADs will continue to visit that area often for corporate promotions, alumni relations and athlete recruiting.

It's more about the size of commercial properties available in Bishop Ranch. It's always been a tempting option for SF based companies looking for a deal without leaving the area.
