Assuming the Muir is actually in the running for some job I would assume that he will put on the back burner any decisions regarding a change in the men's basketball program.

He put that decision off until March months ago, but he will have no choice but to fire Haase the day after the season ends

But what coach would want the job if offered by a lame-duck AD?  Wouldn't any new AD be the one to hire a new coach?  But then what does that do to recruiting?  So, why would a new coach take the job knowing the next AD might undermine him from the beginning, to get his own person in the job?
