Also, for those who think "Door #1 makes transferring in simply too difficult"...also propaganda. Trevor Mayberry has a 3.31 GPA at Penn. If you don't think there are dozens upon dozens of potentially-impactful transfers with 3.3+ GPAs out there that we could try to tap into, I have beachfront realty in Nebraska to sell you.

(To the new staff's credit, they seem to be making a big effort there right out the gate.)

I’ve always thought the transfer issue was more “University wide”.  In that Stanford doesn’t accept many transfers period.

for 2021-22 the transfer admit rate was <2% (see page 16), 55 out of 3,265

in 2020-21 there were 86 transfer admits
