There must be what, several hundred thousand former college football players? Maybe millions? It should be pretty feasible to determine prevalence of dementia or other neurological sequelae in this population matched against controls.
Would be more useful IMHO than these uncontrolled histology studies that seem to be most commonly in the news when it comes to CTE.
