Canady was amazing this weekend. She also did not give up a hit against San Jose State, and the only reason she didn't go five innings in that contest was the game was over after the 1st inning. 

As far as the team's performance this weekend, it was a good, but not great opening weekend. The game against Duke, where we stranded the bases loaded with no outs without scoring any runs, is a missed opportunity. 

I also think we largely wrote off the Oklahoma game as a L (which as far as managing a weekend's worth of games, may have been right). But it would have been great to see how Alana could have matched up against #1 and two time defending national champion OU.
