I wonder if Taylor might be able to bring on an analyst such as Keller Chryst, who had been working with the QBs at Wisconsin. The real power move would be a turnabout is fair play after Bloomgren poached Alamar by giving a full assistant job after we parked Alamar as an analyst: our old friend Robbie Picazo is now RB coach at Rice because Bloomgren brought Marques Tuiasosopo in as a coordinator, so maybe we can use some money from Adams/Pritchard coming off payroll to give Picazo enough money to take a demotion that gets him back in the QB coaching mix. Doubtful, just thinking out loud. And of course there's no reason to stick with guys from the family. It just seems odd to me if Taylor/Merkle is our hierarchy for QB instruction.
Chryst and Picazo are both unemployed right now as best I can tell. They were part of coaching staffs that got let go. Picazo had actually moved to the Texans.
While I like the commitment to the offensive line how can TT be HC, OC and QB coach plus be the recruiter Stanford needs him to be?
