I wish Taylor the best, and hope his bets pay out (or, if not, that he can pivot quickly).  However, this does make me very nervous about the next couple years.  Taylor really has only one opportunity to establish a narrative that he is turning things around and headed in the right direction, or the narrative will quickly turn to "in over his head".  There is a step change going from FCS to FBS (without him even having established himself in a G5 school), and while some guys can make the transition successfully, and Taylor's experience at Utah might inform things, he is basically making the transition without a safety net.  The most probable outcome is probably not going to be a successful transition, I'm afraid.
