I think it would be better next year if Stanford started out ranked somewhere between #12 and #20. This year's expectations were unrealistically high. That can lead to disappointment by fans if initial expectations don't get met. I would rather see Stanford overachieve next year and gradually work its way up in the rankings.
I'd also like to see a player like Bosgana and possibly Betts play an entire half or close to it early in the season in some games Stanford will win. Let them get into the rhythm of the game. Don't pull the plug after a mistake or two. It seemed like Bosgana felt pressured to shoot believing if she didn't make points in the first two or three minutes she would be back on the bench.
