I saw that.  Is it significant that the four founders are all Santa Clara alums and none are Stanford alums?  (I think that is what I read.)

I don't know that it's all that significant. And I'm sure Stanford WS alums (or those from Cal or SJSU, for that matter) would be welcome to participate. What might be more significant is that three of the four attended South Bay High schools; Chastain went to Mitty and Slaton and Wagner went to Presentation and Osborne attended Catholic Memorial in Wisconsin, a school that is similar to Mitty. As locals (relatively speaking) they might have more of a vested interested in drumming up attendance.
