At least one separate thread on the departure was already moved into that thread, and another deleted.

I think I'll just leave this one separate so more new threads on the news don't get started

[Technical point: Threads are always in chronological order, so if we move older posts to a newer thread, the oldest one becomes the start of the thread. Of course we can edit that one so the new thread has a proper title, etc.]

I think the WBB 2023-2024 Season thread encompasses all of these discussions and recommend we re-establish that thread.

Doesn't that thread still exist?  I was just responding to the fact that this thread re Brittany was established, and it seemed to me that we needed to either have it all in the WBB 2023-24 thread, or get the Brittany things moved to this thread. One or the other -- not to have one new thread with things that are already in another thread.  I'm simple minded, like to have things that belong together all in one place.
