Right fielder Clements had a ball drop out of her glove on an easy, routine fly ball. Can't have errors like that happen.

I am going to be frank: Clements was playing out of position (defensively, she is a catcher). I think it was a poor defensive adjustment to have her play RF by the coaching staff, and we unfortunately nearly lost because of the unearned run.
Yes that substitution was hard to figure when you are in a very tight game and want no mistakes. I think the biggest issue was mentioned earlier, our hitting, or really our lack there of. Our pitchers are good, and one may become great, but we are asking too much of them to constantly win low scoring games where we get behind early. We do not seem to be a long ball hitting team at all and are getting by on bunt singles, and more singles. very rare long balls and speed of our runners.
