A Phogge special

Who am I? I was an understudy to a Stanford College Hall of Fame running back. I was shifted to safety my sophomore season and started that year showing great promise. I did not return the next season.

#2 I was a starting tackle on a Rose Bowl team but did not return for my senior season because I started a rock n roll band.  Yo Qwerty

#3 I was a member of the Thunderchickens vs Ohio State set to return for my senior year but wrote an article that was critical of the Stanford program and didn’t return.

1. Robbie Chapman. He was actually the much more highly recruited RB.
2. Steve Jubb. BTW - he made an All American team (3d team the year he didn’t play!)
3.  Larry Butler?
