Campbell cetainly deserves some of the criticism for the dropped fly ball but I have a hard time placing all of the blame on him (putting aside all of the walks which are a separate topic entirely). From Day 1 of Little League, you're taught that CF overrules RF and LF. Park and Campbell were both calling for the ball but it should have been Park's ball because he's the center fielder. It appeared from the TV angle that Park was in position to make the play until he pulled back at the last second which put Campbell in a tricky spot.
I think some of the blame also has to fall on Esquer. Montgomery should've been playing RF and Cobb should've been DH. As CTcard mentioned last week, Campbell doesn't bring much to the table with his bat (0-3 today). Defensively, Campbell may match up similarly to Montgomery in RF on an individual basis (I'd give Campbell the speed edge and Montgomery has the stronger arm), but Campbell doesn't have the rapport with Park that Montgomery and Park have developed all season.
