Question -- In one of the games against Texas A&M, the 3rd baseman lost track of a pop-up. Is this a problem at Sunken Diamond in particular, or is it just the general combination of twilight, artificial lights, cloud conditions, and very high pop-ups?
I was curious about this, too. Lots of Horns fans on social media complaining about the lights at Sunken being downward facing and thus not illuminating a ball that's hit above them. Some blaming it on a supposed CA law that prohibits upward facing lights. Sour grapes for sure but it did make me wonder if there's anything different about the lights at Sunken as opposed to other baseball stadiums.
