ok i got a question for you guys.
did this really happen?

I truly have no idea how 4 guys for Texas all lose that ball. But nobody ended up even near it. So apparently yes that did happen. Somehow.

I believe the SS knew exactly where the ball was but he was too far away. The other three (2B, CF, RF) had no idea.

I also thought the Texas LF showed no sign of losing sight of the not-home-run just minutes before, which also suggests there was no problem seeing the ball from the left side of the field.  Anyone here have a fan's perspective from the 3B side?
