i don't see any mention of this, so I have to share.  This is a tweet last night from the official Texas Baseball account.  I think the title of the tweet had been a bit premature, perhaps by an inning.

The Best Right Fielder in College Baseball (sic)

That was a phenomenal throw...

Why did the third-base coach look so mad? Did the runner take off late? Or did the coach tell him not to run?

Just think it’s cause he was out.  Incredible throw. Yes, you don’t want to make first or third out at 3d. But he makes it 99 times out of 100. No problem with him running there. Medium deep fly ball. RF had to move a little to his left to set up. He just unleaded a Clementeesque throw. Tip your hat.

Glad Stanford won. Hated the way it happened. Never like to see a team lose a game like that. Unless, of course, it’s USC or the Dodgers….
