I agree. Fixing the brackets before the final field is set doesn't make sense to me.

It's just like every other NCAA tournament. Should they reseed the Sweet 16 in basketball? What about the Frozen 4 in Ice Hockey? Everybody who makes the MCWS is playing well, so I don't think it really matters. Just win, baby.

Final 4 in basketball. Otherwise, yes.

If we are going to play the CWS on paper then give the trophy to WF and move on, otherwise lets play the series.  No questions WF has the best pitching, and more, but we still have to play the games.  I hope we acquit ourselves well.

WF plays in a cracker jack box of a stadium. Let's see if they are able to put up the runs in a legit sized yard. 

310 LF, 300 RF. There gaps are 370 LC and 365 RC is what they play in now 

Charles Schwab field: 

335 down the lines, 408 CF, 375 in the gaps.

Isn't this all the more impressive that they lead in ERA given ACC competition?. Agreed, we still need to play the games. I just hope it's not as lopsided as it might appear on paper.
