I got to the bottom of the issue regarding the number of no-hitters overseen by Leo Durocher. It was five. He was not the manager of the Dodgers in September 1948 when Rex Barney pitched his no-hitter. Durocher was fired by Brooklyn midway through the season.
Someone should correct Wikipedia’s Dodger no-hitter page….
