Correct. When he got back on the bench, Clark says to Chili Davis "He's going to knock me down next time I go up there, isn't he?" Davis says "Yup." And he did. Clark struck out looking. Good game though, Giants and Krukow got the win on Opening Day, 8-3. They had a really fun team that year, Al Rosen's first team; Clark, Robby, Chili, Hac-Man, Gladden, Chris Brown, Uribe and Brenly behind the plate. Aldrete, Candy Maldonado, Harry Spilman off the bench. Kruk won 20. Garrelts went 13-9. 4th best fielding team, stole the 5th most bases, had the third fewest HRs.
