* Most interesting saved for near the end, Yurosek's impressions on defensive individuals. At safety he highlighted Gilman, Porter, and Edwards, which is a really interesting omission of Wyrick. It seems to me we actually haven't heard a ton about Wyrick (though I haven't watched the safety room interviews yet so watch this be speaking too soon). Because of Wyrick's solid 2021 I've assumed he has to be penciled in on the starting defense, but we should keep in mind safety is a different position than nickel (and maybe there's legitimate competition involving Wyrick at nickel). Plus, of course, players rise and fall with new coaches. Anyway, looking forward to consuming those safety data points. In the front seven, Bernadel, Sinclair, Bailey, and Keneley got mention as "great reps." I am finding the buzz around ILBs somewhat thrilling. The coaches and players seem to like that duo much more than I would have imagined and now Yurosek shouts out them out. It would be great if Anderson scheme and ILB coaches were so horrendous that we immediately get good ILB play. Bailey and Keneley we would have expected but it's nice to hear. In a camp of Tafiti buzz and Bailey questions, this is perhaps a corrective that Bailey is still a (or at least a potential) dude.
