I thought an NFL question would be appropriate, now that we're on the cusp of the season.  Here it is:

26 Stanford alums played in the NFL for all or parts of 10 seasons or more. Name them.

For the real Stanford football fans, here are some secondary questions:

1) 6 played 15 years or more in the NFL.
2) 6 of the 26 were first team all pros at least once.
3) 14 of 26 made the Pro Bowl.
4) Two were UDFAs.
5) Only one was not a primary starter during his career. He only started four games in an eleven year career...three of them in his last season.

Sherman, Plunkett, Elway, Brodie, Albert, Nelson, Lofton, Washington, Hill, Siemon, Lynch, Ed McCaffrey, Ertz

Brodie had the longest career at 17 seasons. Lofton and Elway were 16 seasons, Plunkett and John Lynch were 15 seasons, Ed McCaffrey played 13 seasons. Nelson, Sherman & Siemon played 11 seasons. Tony Hill, Gene Washington and Zack Ertz played 10 seasons.

Frankie Albert played seven seasons.

Sherman, Lynch, Banducci, Brodie, Washington and Lofton all made First Team all-pro at least once. Richard Sherman made it three times, most of all of them.

The others included Chris Draft and Jason Fisk (12 years each), Brad Badger, Lester Archambeau, George Buehler, Toi Cook, Alex Smith and Chris Walsh at 11 years each.  

Chris Walsh was the answer to the mystery question "who generally did not start?" He only started four times in eleven seasons, though he played in 139 games. Three of his starts came as a 34 year old. He had his second best season in total yardage, yards per reception, total targets, total catches, and percentage of passes thrown to him that he caught...all in his last year.
