Well, their attendance definitely improved as the season went on and victories piled up...and they played more exciting opponents; e.g., 24k+ for UC Davis in a stadium that nominally fits 21,195, though the attendance more than cut in half for the first round of the playoffs.

Is it possible that they weren't asked or considered? If you look at their resumes objectively, does it suggest that they would be capable FBS coaches?
